Rams' Uniforms Jersey
These uniforms evolved into yellow gold jerseys with blue letters, white pants and yellow gold helmets.
Over the years there were stripes added to the pants, and borders on the jersey numbers, and then in 1956 TVnumbers were added to the sleeves. After a deviation of several years when the colors were blue and white the yellow-gold and blue returned in the 70's.
This all new uniform was made up of yellow-gold pants and curling rams horns on the sleeves of the jerseys. During this time the Rams mainly wore blue jerseys at home and white jerseys for road games.
After winning the Super Bowl in 2000 the Rams again changed their colors, to Hew Century Gold and Millennium Blue. A logo of a rams head was added to the sleeves and gold stripes were added to the sides of the jerseys. There were no stripes on the new gold pants. The optional blue and white pants maintained a small gold stripe. The helmet is essentially the same as when the first horns were painted on it, except for coloring updates.
As they prepare for the 2009 season the Rams haven't made any major changes in their uniform, in fact the NFL has approved the Rams to wear their throwback uniforms based on the jerseys and pants they wore for their championship season in 1951.
The St. Louis Rams have had a few different locations and a few color changes over the years, but the spirit of the club has always remained the same. Striving for victory with the best players and coaches they can find, the future looks bright for this persevering team.
