Philadelphia Eagles Jerseys
The Philadelphia Eagles are a part of the NFL's NFC East division and have a long and varied history. Having won three consecutive NFL titles and made two trips to the Super Bowl the Eagles have existed as a team since 1933. Through many owners, conferences and associations the Eagles joined the NFL as an expansion team. The Eagles got their name from the New Deal stimulus programs of the Great Depression, which were represented by the Blue Eagle. In a time of great financial problems the football fans sought to distract themselves with sport, and the teams did their best to accommodate them.
The Philadelphia Eagles have many players and coaches who have been inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame including Reggie White, Steve Van Buren, Tommy McDonald, and Norm Van Brocklin. Current players include Donovan McNabb, Kevin Kolb, LeSean McCoy, and Mike Gibson. The 2009 Philadelphia Eagles have the traditional Eagles colors and spirit as they prepare for yet another grueling season and the quest for the coveted Super Bowl.

Eagles' Jersey
Since 1966 the colors of the Philadelphia Eagles uniforms have been midnight green, white and silver, and the logo an eagle, until 1996 when the logo was changed to an eagles head. There hasn't been a set uniform for home and road games, as the Eagles have made many different alterations and combinations since settling upon the colors back in the 1960's. There have been instances of wearing midnight green jerseys and pants, white jerseys with white pants, and the white jersey with green pants. There have been subtle changes and additions to the uniforms and logo of the Philadelphia Eagles in the new millennium. Black shadows and silver trim have been added to the green and white numbering on both the white and green jerseys. The stripe on the pants has been changed to black- silver- green on the white pants and black- silver -white on the midnight green pants. As alternate uniforms the Philadelphia Eagles have black jerseys with white pants.
To celebrate the teams 75th anniversary the 2007 season uniforms have a 75th season patch on the left shoulder. Along with all the other teams in the NFL in 2007 the Eagles wore a throwback jersey of yellow and blue, similar to the ones worn in the first season of the Philadelphia Eagles, the colors are the colors of the Philadelphia city flag. The Eagles are well aware of the historical city they represent wherever the players may come from.
Philadelphia Eagles fans know when they see the eagle head and that famous color scheme that they have something to be proud of. The Philadelphia Eagles are a philanthropic organization that participates in the Eagles Fly for Leukemia project, Ronald McDonald Houses, and the Eagles Youth Partnership.
