The Silver Star
The home jersey for the Dallas Cowboys is white with royal blue socks, numbers, letters and two black outlined stripes on the sleeves. The pants for home games are unique as they aren't really silver or gray, but a metallic silver/green color which helps brig out the blue in the uniform.
Road jerseys for the Dallas Cowboys are navy with white letters, numbers and navy pinstripes. They also have a white/gray/white stripe on the sleeves and a V-neck with the same stripes around the collar. The pants for the away uniform are a pearly metallic silver and like the home pants also bring out the navy blue in the uniforms.
Both home and away uniforms are embellished with the Cowboys star logo, and the Cowboys crest on the front of the jersey.
The only changes that have taken place in the uniforms over the years are that in the 1976 season in order to commemorate the United States bicentennial the stripe on the helmets was temporarily red-white-blue instead of blue-white-blue.
In celebration of the 75th NFL anniversary and back to back Super Bowl titles, the Cowboys unveiled a special occasion double star jersey in 1994.
In 2004 the Cowboys returned to their original 1960 style uniform which is usually worn once a year as the teams alternate or "third" uniform.
